To follow up in the first installment it was baiscally about body parts and inept walmart employee's. Today cause basically im updating my ipod with some movies and hell i need 2 hrs to kill. Thats about how it takes to convert for favorite PrOn to your ipod granted it's a couple hours in length!

Im noticing a trend with the Vision Camera and it's one hell i was even thinking of doing until i seen how fricking lame it is in execution. So i cant gaurantee this will be a long post or story but ill try he we go. What makes one wear a mask over an UNO session? I think its a couple of things one it's fun to play dress up you stick out from the crowd. Secondly it's a great way to keep your anomitity over XBOX LIVE.

So why not do it? I dont have anything against it, but it's gonna get the point where just like the pee pee shots i endured through its gonna play itself out. Another point that just sprurred up in my mind and one i touched on last night is this: why do people let the situtation and atmosphere influence the way they act towards others and imo basically act out. It's an intresting cycological curiousness on my part and one i never to this day understood. If you put a person in a situation with total and complete freedom and control of their situation with no consequences it's intresting how they act.

The Vision Camera is really an intresting porject imo. People always act or put on a mask or face when the camera is pionted right at them.

Think about all those sex chat sessions on the net with the chick willing to do anything you type into the chat room. Guranteed half those dudes wouldnt even have the balls to say that to any Women on the streets! Same thing with the Vision Camera you can say anything do anything with out the consequences or ambitions. It's really an expirementation with the XBOX community as a whole imo and voyerism, the other day i heard that someone on my friends list seen a dude get a BJ while playing in Uno. I think were on the tip or verge of something that can be imature as hell with all the kids on LIVE theese days, or cone could look at it as an expeiement in behavior and how one acts when they behind thier mask both physically and mentally.

The once popular mask i have seen through various Uno games are the the HOCKEY MASK while it looks bad ass is this the only thing you people wear? Thats the one thing almost everyone has, except the person called V for V which this person wears a V for Vendetta mask and put on a strobe light in the background. The person does not talk at all at anytime through the session. Imo it's meant to physc the other players out in the room to a point to where not only are they distracted by the ongoings in the picture. But also in the hopes that the other player will make a mistake. It's a form of physcological warfare, not only will the player now trash talk you they will also put images in the camers to physically distract you attention span to get the upper hand.

Imo it's a genuis idea not only does it bring the player into the phyiscal relam sort speak but it also bring a new form a game play. Id expect to see more and more of this as the camera ages and more and more people decide to take the plunge. One maks im looking forward to is the Digimask technology which let's the player maks their own face into the game. World Series of Poker that's out now let's you do it and Rainbow 6 Vegas will also let you use this technology. So as we can see here we are all on the brink of something new, exciting and also in my case a bunch of mixed feelings on the product.

So my question is what mask will you wear when playing online?

The Vision Camera Chronicles: Day 1

Microsoft finally released the Vision Camera this last week, i finally got my hands on one and so i'd thought i would start blogging on my experiences with the device. I have alot of opinions good and bad about the product in general. I think there is alot that needs to be addressed by Microsoft imo concerning the feedback system, the people that use the camera.

Theese stories are my adventures inside the underbelly of the Vision Camera over XBOX Live. So where do i begin? Why did i decide to get one and what is the attraction to seeing other nerds play over Live?

When Microsoft announced the plans for the Vision Camera i thought what a great idea connecting other gamer's ala eye toy style over multiplayer games on XBOX Live. It did really occur to me until this weekend just how bad of an idea that this could turn out to be for the 360. I also really did not fully realise WTF i was thinking by getting one and also what others would actually use the device for. I guess i should really know better considering it's human nature when some new technology comes out for a product, that people will find ways and uses that the device really was not intended for or maybe not realised by the company realsing the product.

Also im not gonna dog the camera on all accounts, for one i think it makes the 360 a more versital console and gives the eye toy a run for it's money and also introduces a new world to XBOX gamers alike. Now dont get me wrong im all for some chick flashing her ta ta's at me in UNO if she so desires! But let's get real for a minute here, i dont feel like a prude but damn i never seen a bunch of inmature people in my life as i seen on my first day with the camera. I know alot of people that are opposed to the camera for the obvious reason's and also the thought of giving up your online anomitity is really one thing alot of people really does not want to give up. Imo one of the best things of hiding behind your gamer card and name there is no face that goes with the voice.

This goes out to all parents if you got kids dont get the camera or but the f*er for them! If you dont want your kid to see some body parts of others or worse! If your a kid and you flash your pecker at me then i really wish i knew a hacker that could get some personal information some how so i could come to your house and beat the living shit outta you! People are real brave behind this camera but in real life they wouldnt even think of doing this crap guaranteed, im pissed off a lil bit yah did i expect it yes but did i think how far some would go no. It's been common knowledge on the forums for a while this was gonna happen! So what's Microsoft's reponse generally to this use the broken feedback system!

Are you serious.... i do my fare share of SONY bashing of sorts at times cause i think they completely flushed the toilet on the playstation brand and slapped the general media in the face with the TGS BS they pulled this week with Afrika and PS3 and the future of Networking! Hey Ken if i wanted someone to yank my johnson hard enough i'd get a hooker to do it! Shes alot cheaper then you are and alot prettier also.

Now for Microsoft's turn while im a big XBOX supporter i think this Bull Shit has gotta end. Im talking about all theese lame ass repsonses to people that question their tactics at times. A perfect example of this is the 3 red lights issue and the 139.00 service fee to get a lame ass refurb unit. WTF the unit should not only be new but brand spakin fucking new imo, for months we seen posts on the forums about people bitching and complaining and moaning their asses off about this. Sure MS did adress the issue and pulled the service fee and extended the warranty but look how long it took! That's my issue with the whole deal, they took the proper action to rectify the issue but at what costs and for months it was blamed on the users part! I know i was one of those in the forums that said just sent it in or the popular repsonse is user error. Which in some cases its true but not in all so im gulity to an extent of that. The point im making here is that people who bitch about the camera and all the crap that goes with it will get the same lame ass excuse Use the feed back system.

I got news for yah the system is broke to an extent, i can report people all day long. The stars or rep will go down but at the same token all that person needs to do is get some unsuspecting person to refer them again. Forget avoiding the player cause eventually your gonna run into them again sometime down the road bank on it. I know this is really ranty and for all intensive purposes im sorry! But im tired of everyone looking the other way when it comes to issues like this. Im also tired of people being put down and there opinion discounted when they oppose the popular opinion in the XBOX community. Thats gotta stop... people need to be more educated on issues like the vision camera and need to have a better overall standing of the implications.

The Vision camera is not all bad in fact there is alot of good things about it. I did purchase one, i talked to my good friend kmkjuggalo17 in video chat and it's bad ass. So the follwing story is a recap of that day the first day with the Vision Camera.

This story takes place on Sat. Sept 23rd 2006 and starts at 14:30 MST. It's friday payday got my fat paycheck on friday and just came home from paying bills whoo hoo. I could not find a camera on this pay day Friday Sept 22nd 2006 i talked to multiple misinformed people at several local stores in colorado from best buy, gamestop, toy r us employee's in which case either had no idea WTF i was talking about and the best reponse of the day was: sorry sir the Vision Camera has been delayed until November due to a lawsuit filled by MS against toys'r us for releasing the camera early. Ok a side not here if your a dumb ass dont comment on shit you have no clue about, also dont speculate on shit you dont know about!!! I swear there should be a 360 law outlawing dumb ass employees giving out mis information about 360 products!!! Frustrated wondering WTH happened with the Vision Camera release i get on Live with juggalo to see if he got one. His luck was a no-go as well. After a couple hours i go to bed....

Sat. Sept 23rd 2006

Coming home from work i go to bed for a bit then wake up knowing im tired i still decided to turn on my PC and decided to surf the net for TGS news and was curious about the ongoings of the XBOX forums. While browsing i decided to look at my friends list and seen kmkjuagglo17 on their sent him a message just ot see whats up. Kmk sent me a message back telling me to log on to LIVE he's gotta show me something. So i thought: hell why not so i fire up the beast known as the 360 logg into Live. Seen the juggalo on my list he sents me an invite, i though cool a chat invite our primary means of communication. But then i looked and this was a video chat invite so i though crap WTF he got the camera. Addmittedly jelous at the time cause of multiple failed attempts to secure the product for myseld i accept. I went to 10 places that day and could not find one. KMK did get one at his local EB store in his state they had a wopping total of 2 camera's! Now i already know whay juggalo looks like and all that cause we both have skype and video confrenced on wed. but granted i didnt have a camera or anything. But at the same token juggalo had no idea what i look like.

So i accept the video chat session which is a room with both feeds on so you can see your self but also the person your talking to. KMK shows me all the functionality of the camera. The lense effects that change the camera picture and all the good stuff. So he asks me if i got mine: i said no i couldnt find one. So he suggested for me to call my EB and surrounding stores. I get the itch and decide to go for it so i call all the gamestops and EB games stores in my area and there all sold out. I was like ahh man i missed out !!! So i decide to change up the strategy and call the stores that may have more supply like Best Buy, Walmart etc.

I called my walmart in the thornton towncenter and talked to some youngin in the electronics dept she asks her manager if they have camera for the 360 and i can hear her in the background stating yes. So i thought crap bingo and i dont even have to drive that far sweet. I tell juggalo i gotta go pick one up at that time i had no idea what i was about to get into later that night in UNO. Anyway i get to Walmart after racing down 104th fearing i better act quick cause theese camera's are hard to find. At this time im in totall geekdom mode, where your searching for a new tech gadget and will spend 10 hrs going from store to store to get the must have gadget no matter what. Then i finally reached the mecca WALMART AAHHHHHHHH !!!! The gods are shining down on me this day my friends, i race back to the electronics dept, dodging kids, soccer mom milfs, granny's, red necks and everyone else.

I ask the first lady stockig CD's on the shelves, i ask: do you have the XBOX LIVE VISION CAMERA for the XBOX 360. Confused she asked some dude that said it's been delayed!! UGH i thought shit just what the fuck i need some dick head that couldnt find his pecker in a lit room. So my duty as someone that's some what educated on games said: man the camera is out all the gamestores are sold out playa! He turned confused then studdered is it the eye toy!!? Im like OMG dude it's a camera for the XBOX 360 mofo. Then they both go talk to the sea of old ladies working in the freaking electronics dept at Walmart. I ask is there no common sense in this world anymore?

I then thought im fucked without a kiss, so i start thinking i should just go home and sleep the frustration off. So they both come back to me and the dude says: i know what your talking about i just dont know what it looks like or if we even have it!!? Then the lady says per her manager that they have not gotten the product in yet. Of course i said i just talked to a female and she sttd that this store is carrying the product as of 10 mins ago! The they all converse in a huddle like a buch of retards trying to figure out how to circle jerk!! All turn and look at me like im the geek with herpies and say that they dont have it. WTF pissed off i walk back to my car and on the way back i call Best Buy in Westminister, CO and talk to a guy in the electronics dept. He said: we have the cam yo come get one dog. Im like im there so i drive to best buy to get the camera. Walk in and they have 2 left sitting there for 39.99 im like DAMN are you kidding me. Theese things are selling quick.

With the Vision Camera in my shooping bag i race home shifting in and out traffic like a mad man in a supped up honda eeeeeeeeeeeE.

Finally i get home and the first thing i notice is this thing is small. Seriously the camera is very very small, imo the form factor matches the 360 perfectly other's will say that it looks ugly but imo i think it's fine. it even has its own ring of light and which is way cool and it lights up green thats gangsta! Anyway i hook it up and when you first hook it up to the 360 and log into your profile on XBOX LIVE it enables the camera and puts effects on your backgrounds on every blade. The process is seamless and works in the background prefectly gives the user a smooth transition and auto plug and plays the device. Gee why cant Windows XP be that easy hmmmm.

We video chat talking guy talk and then decide to get on XBOX LIVE and play some Uno. Was i in for a surprise or maybe i knew what was coming i just didnt realise it. So we play for hours meeting some cool people then this dude and a kid jump in the room. For now i'll leave this person with their privacy but ill edit this later on to include the gamer tag. Im not pulling any punches, so in the room it's me juggalo and tourtED another person thats apart of out crew. So this guy says he's 19 and has a 12 yr old that wants to snort heroine. Without a seond thougt me and TourtED call Bull Shit no way! So the what do you know the dude puts the camera on the table and starts cutting up some substance this shit looks like a white powder. He lays it on the table in a line and the kid snorts the crap through a tube! We were like holy shit are yuo kidding!

Then the kid starts tweakin and hits himself in the head a couple times, then starts going wild and sits down then stands up and pulls out his lil peter!!! I thought this shit is outta hand already and all i see are dudes pulling their shit out on LIVE no Women WTF!!! The the Vision Camera is sat down pointing at the toilet and the kid pulls his pants down and then we all cut the video. Apparently when you cut the video in the room through your xbox 360 the other players feeds go out !! im not exactly sure on that but when we cut all of our cameras this DOUCHE BAGS cam went to his gamer pic also. Kmk then says what happend: we explain apparently he was checking a message from another friend when the weiner pull went down. To this day this is my biggest peeve with the feed back and the camer itself.

We continue on like the XBOX solders we are and play until its time for me to go to work. I call it a night and get off, juggalo kept having freezes so he went to bed and TourtED was getting krunked with a few girls lucky bastard! Wondering what the hell i just saw i get some ZZZZzzzzz's before work.

I felt like i just wrote a book but the morale of the story is be careful who you play with, the camera holds a new demension into the XBOX LIVE world. The day in the life of the Vision Camera.
